Wedding planning with the holidays just around the corner sounds a bit stressful, so why not elope instead? I absolutely love elopements for so many reasons — they’re intimate, focused on the couple and I’m able to provide a custom and memorable experience!
Taking the holidays into account, I couldn’t suggest a better time for an elopement!

Here is my list of 10 Reasons to Elope During the Holidays:
1. You would start off the new year with your BFF (New Year, New Us)
2. It would be easy to remember your anniversary (Right around Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s!)
3. You’d have extra money for gifts and less spent on deposits (eloping tends to be easier on the bank account)
4. You could take a holiday honeymoon (holiday cruise, Europe, a destination somewhere snowy or beachy)
5. No more stressful wedding planning to juggle during holidays (opens the conversation up to lighter topics)
6. You can gift your relatives wedding photo related gifts (because you wished they were there… in theory and you looked so nice!)
7. Check out Black Friday shopping deals on rings and wedding attire (now, I’m wondering what kind of sales jewelry stores run anyways!)

8. Gives you a better chance to fit into your wedding day clothes before indulging in holiday calories (may or may not apply, but we’d like to enjoy our pie!)
9. Wedding officiants might have more availability because the holidays are typically the “off season” for weddings. (yes, that’s me! Let’s get you wed to your best friend Ted!)
10) Consider a micro-wedding! If your family is already planning to spend the holidays together, add in your micro-wedding, as well! (mindset: your favorite people are already here, so let’s celebrate your nuptials, and no ‘save the date’ cards necessary!)
