I got the blessing to wedding Leslie and Stephen in the summer of 2021 in Sedona Arizona. I loved getting to know this couple, as they later became my friends.
Leslie and Steven dated young and rekindled later in life. Their story was filled with poetic synchronicities. God brings us to certain people in divine timing. We never know what the bigger picture is. One beauty that came of Leslies life was the birth of her two children. Hannah and TJ before she reconnected with her long lost love Stephen. They met after being apart for years and then found one another after a Facebook message. They wanted their ceremony to highlight their merging and blended family with their two kids and so we did a sand pouring ceremony. It was such a wonderful day we all spent together. We have since stayed in touch and I get such a big happy heart whenever I hear from them.
My heart never leaves my couples… It’s as if a piece of me stays with them as they share their stories with me.
Just like Steven and Leslies story, I get the front row seat in seeing how no love story is PERFECT in image, rather, perfect in its divine unfoldment. Life will bring you who and what you need when the time is right and I am unbelievably grateful this family was brought into mine.
